The lawsuit centered around Walmart violating employment law by because workers in many of its different stores in Pennsylvania were forced to work lunch breaks. The Supreme Court refused to hear Walmart’s appeal. Regardless of what store you work for, most (if not all) states have a law that requires the store or employer to give you a lunch break after working for a certain amount of hours.
