According to WRDW 12, a local Georgia TV station, neighbors whose backyards face a Walmart Marketplace, the Walmart grocery store chain, filed a law suit because the lights and noise from the store. The neighbors state that when the store was being built, they were promised a 40 foot buffer. However, they did not get a buffer. What they received was a back yard full of bright lights and noise. Primary complaints include lights shining into the neighbors’ homes at night and noise from the trucks. They have asked for trees or a wall.

The lawsuit by the neighbors was filed in February.
